OMG I loved it! I have been looking forward to reading Sealed with a Curse ever since I read Cecy Robson Novella The Weird Girls. I enjoyed her written so much. From the moment I opened the book I was drawn into her world and could not put it down. So much action, adventure, and romance blooming.
I enjoy each of the Wird sisters. They all have unique abilities and personalities that add to the story. I just loved Celia in this book. Her funny reportorial kept me laughing thought the book, she is strong, and lonely, but does not let that loneliness stop her from doing what must be done.
Being introduced to the the hunky wolf Aric was great. I loved the connection you see growing between Celia and Aric as well as the other sisters getting set up with their hunky wolfs.
This story has everything a paranormal romance book should have; lots of action, the sisters, love, flirts, smoking hot men and your favorite paranormal beings but most important a lot of fun!
This series is hilarious and action packed! The characters are great and I miss them! ;). Can't wait til July! Don't take my word for it, try it and see!!!

A great urban fantasy. If you liked Twilight or the Mercy Thompson series, then you'll love this book. Couldn't put it down.
BalasHapusThe book was laugh out loud funny! I read this in just a few hours - really couldn't put the book down! Very similar to early works by Maggie Shayne. I loved the "weird" powers the sisters have, different from typical paranormal romance stories. I can't wait for the next book!
BalasHapusWhat it's about: This is book one of the Weird Girls series and involves four sisters, who each has powers that are ... well, weird ... and the cause of a backfired curse. When one of the sisters accidentally blows up a vampire (vampires aren't aggressive in this series), they're going to have to figure out what's going on before things get crazier.
BalasHapusWhy you should read it: This is a funny book. Seriously, I was laughing and enjoyed reading every page. Celia is complicated and caught between two dominant men, both on opposing sides of the war/issue/complication. The best part, though, to me was the interaction between the sisters. Each has her own personality and story, which makes the sisters witty and amazing individually and together. I'm looking forward to reading more of the Weird Girls and have put the series on my auto-buy list. If you're looking for fun, adventure, a messy love triangle and an awesome family, check out Sealed With a Curse.

One of the best new Paranomal books ive read in quite awhile! Loved the Wird Sisters.. it has different Werewolves, Vampires, and 4 Sisters with truly Unique Abilities!!! Cannot wait for book 2!!
BalasHapusSealed with a Curse is a great debut of a new paranormal series, The Weird Sisters, from Cecy Robson. This series is centered around Celia Wird and her three sisters who each have a unique supernatural ability.
BalasHapusThere isn't a dull moment in this book, starting at the beginning when we meet Celia and her sisters as they stand trial for the death of a vampire, leading to the troubling matter of vampires that are infected with a virus called Bloodlust. This specific virus turns a vampire into the vampire's equivalent to a zombie which is becoming a deadly problem in the area. To help deal with the problem, Celia agrees to help a master vampire to find and end the source of the infection. Along the way, the Wird sisters become acquainted with a werewolf pack whose duty is to keep their community safe from evil like Bloodlusters. Despite being surrounded by a bunch of protective alpha males, the girls know how to stand on their own.
This book is fast paced and action-packed. There's no cliff-hanger ending. There's no love triangles. But there is insta-love. The characters are interesting and likeable. I really enjoyed the bond and protective nature that the sisters shared for one another and I'm really looking forward to reading the next Weird Girls novel, A Curse Embraced.

I had My initial doubts but this book turned out to be very interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat and it kept laughing. Great combination and add in some sexual tension and you got yourself a great read.
BalasHapusI loved this book,it was a page turner. I started reading and could not put it down. I am excited for the next book and can't wait for it to come out. Wish it was July already. Great read! Would recommend this book to anyone that is in to the supernatural.
