I was totally captivated reading this riveting international thriller. I was bounced back and forth from the beer gardens and streets of Munich to the deserts of Saudi Arabia. This story kept me totally involved from beginning to end and all points in between.

B.J. is a happily married man, a career in the advertising business and content with his life. He starts to have dreams about a woman named Dabbie who is a stranger to him and as the dreams progress and continue he discovers that he is the man in the dreams with her. When the dreams turn into nightmares they begin to threaten not only his marriage but his sanity and stability as well. Ultimately, as the dreams overpower him, he sets out for Munich to confront his demons head-on. What happens from that point on is an engagingly powerful set of circumstances that will keep you on the edge.

Stan has just arrived in Saudi Arabia to start a new job and to make a new start with his wife. When his wife does not arrive as planned and there is no sign of her very existence his life is turned upside down as he is thrown into and experiences a nightmare of his own.

The characters are extremely well developed and believable. Their frustrations, fears and panic as they set about on their separate journeys will grab you, fill you with compassion and haunt you as the story unfolds.

I highly recommend this book to all readers who like to be totally captivated and swept away.

I'm going today that this book uses the "F" word in the most hilarious way EVER!!! Hahaha I like to lost it reading that! I was laughing so hard I snorted! Multiple times! Hehehe I'm still giggling! And yes it's about Angels... But they are bad, but oh so good let me explain that sentence- they are bad enough that they don't live in heaven but not bad enough to lose their good graces or wings. Wings are hot! And I fanatically love the names! And I'm so glad I don't live in their world cuz they scare me!

Lune is the angel here and he's on a mission for himself. Something's gone wrong. His brother is missing, people are dying, things are getting suspicious and no one seems to know what's going on. He's definitely got the alpha male thing going for him and he's not the quiet type, he is actually full of sarcastic remarks and an earful of crazy LOL! And he is willing to do anything to find out what happened to his brother and why all these apocalyptic things are happening! He's definitely a HAWT piece!

Dr Sterling is your Dr who's a medical examiner and is bent on finding a way to end this crazy virus spreading around killing people... Until she opens a body bag that's exploding with feathers hahahaha I can't go further into that because of spoilers but it's pretty funny! She's got some trust issues and some no nonsense with makes but Lune is gunna give her a run for her money! She's an Indepentent woman and she's worked very hard to get where she is and trust me with her past it was hard work. I loved her reaction and relationship with Lune. It seems like it took Eons for them to finally get "their moment"!

This story is NOT your average angel story. Some of these angels take their earth leave to an extreme and their actions are just nuts... Makes you wonder who the good guys are sometimes. And the secondary characters are not lacking, as Dash is awesome! The writing is so unlike any other you can't really compare it. It's full of action and intense suspense and humor and sometimes gore and kinky things. Just read it!! It's not like those cute little kid angels that statues are made from! You're in for a crazy wild ride! 4.5 CRAZY SCARY ANGELIC PAWS!! I can't wait to jump into book two now!

The luggage set is beautiful.3 pieces 28",24", and 20" bags.They are hardside on the edges and softside but still firm and protective where you see the lighter brown in the picture.Pretty light weight.only 26 pounds for the 3 bags together.They do look just like the picture.The inside is lined with pink.Cargo net on one side that zips and straps on the other side.I couldn't figure out why the pink but as I type this I realize when a woman goes on vacation and she opens her luggage she probably wants to see something pretty and not just dark brown surrounding her nice clothes.2 carry handles;top and side;very well made.Telescoping handles on each piece that are the correct legnth based on the size of the piece.Meaning,the carry-on isn't shorter just because it's smaller and the 28" doesn't have this extra long handle just because it's bigger.4 spinner wheels on each piece.Well made wheels.I was pretty particular about how the wheels were made and attached because I had a "bad wheeled" piece of luggage a long time ago and it was hell to use.Gold DVF plate on the front of each,leather tag holder on the back of each,front inside top pocket also has a tag holder since you're supposed to put your name and address inside each bag.DVF tag of authenticity sewn inside each piece with the hologram logo.The zipper going around the bag has a place to use TSA locks but the 2 front pockets have no way to lock.They both close on the same side so I guess I could use a TSA cable lock if I really needed.I got a Dasein croco brown purse/tote to go with the carry-on.It's here on Amazon too.Looks really sharp together.Oh,each piece had it's own sales tag and DVF sales tags,as well as,the 10 year warranty tag.Each piece sold seperately at manufacturers suggested price was $380,340,300 respective to size.I think this was pretty good deal and free shipping for $160.I could have gone to another website for same price but I trust Amazon because I buy a lot here.

Belgian Cobblestone Mold

I'm a 33 year old petite woman (5 feet tall, 125 lbs). I saw this on HSN and decided to buy it since I love doing things myself especially if it will save me a buck. This turned out to be easy but only after some trial and error (my first few look like crap). First and foremost, the hardest thing about using these molds is dealing with the concrete. I used 1 -60lb bag of QUICKRETE per mold. Initially I was mixing by hand which was extremely exhausting. My neighbor let me borrow his drill and concrete mixer extension (drill $40 and extension $15) which made the job go a whole lot easier and faster. Definitely worthy of the $55 investment if you don't have one already or one you can borrow. It was taking me 35-45 minutes per mold before using the drill. Another thing, the Quickrete bag says to use half a gallon of water. I found that this was not enough. It should look like thick oatmeal when you are done mixing. This equated to 12 cups of water for me. Another important step which made it very difficult for me to remove the mold at first: MAKE SURE THE MOLD IS RIGHT SIDE UP. I know this may sound stupid and believe me I felt stupid after I realized my mistake but I was so excited to start I just dropped the thing and started filling it with concrete not realizing that it would make a difference. If the mold is not the correct way up it will be very difficult to remove the mold and your bricks will get stuck and crumble as you try to force the thing out. It takes about 4-5 minutes to mix the quickrete when using a drill and about 2-3 minutes to fill the mold and smooth out the top using a trowel (get one that is wide and smooth on all sides). Let it set in the mold for about 1-2 minutes and use the tabs on each side of the mold to lift it up. So a total of about 10 minutes (tops) per mold. Another tip I learned is to tap the sides of the mold to release the bubbles in the concrete and smooth again. Also, if you don't have a wheel barrel, use one of those big totes they sell at Walmart or something rectangular in shape. It's hard to maneuver the concrete in those 5 gallon buckets as I also learned the hard way. Lastly remember to cure the concrete by wetting it for a few days after its done. Its important to mention also that the bricks are removable and can be placed however you want. You need to use sand to fill in the gaps and make them more compact. I stretched my job out over a couple of days but thats because I started about 5-6 the hard way and it was taking me too long to finish each one. The whole project (25 molds) should have only taken me about 4 hrs start to finish. The finished project is beautiful and looks professionally done.

I'm an avid Ju Ju Be lover and have owned many of their other bags.

As my kids have gotten older however, I've had problems with bags either being too big or too small. This bag is absolutely perfect for all my needs. It holds quite a bit more than you'd expect on the inside of the bag. There are plenty of pockets on the inside of the bag to keep everything organized and the mommy pocket on the outside is perfect. I also love that they added the felt lined pocket like on the BFF. It's a great pocket for anything that could be scratched or anything you want to have super easy access to.

The back pocket for the changing pad is nice, but I use it for other things and love having a pocket I can easily shove paper in or what have you and then it still has a button closer, which is nice.

Overall, I'm very happy with this bag. I'm an overpacker and yet still have plenty of room to carry what I need and then some. And even then some more. As a Mom with a 4 year old and a 2 year old, this bag works perfectly for us.

Another Destiny keepsake

Half Moon Hill Destiny ebook

Toni Blake has worked her magic again! I do think Anna and Duke might just be my favorite couple of the series followed closely by Tessa and Lucky. The pairing of Anna and Duke is a bit of an odd couple but Blake makes their romance work so very well!

Anna Romo has come home to a place she barely remembers. After having been gone from Destiny for many years, Anna is home to stay. We see how Anna is working to fit in but still holding back, not quite sure of her place in the Romo family. I liked how Anna was aware of her insecurities and her torn loyalties. There is also her need to not completely submerge herself in the small town but test the waters and ease herself into life in Destiny. It shows Anna's intelligence and maturity. I love reading about an intelligent heroine!

Duke is a hero with a bad-boy exterior and a heart of gold. At first glance, he's not someone you'd want to meet in a dark alley but once Anna, and the readers, get to know him, it's obvious he's a gentle and loving man with a little edginess that making his softer side that much more special. Duke is a realistic hero in that he doesn't try to be someone he's not but learns to like who he really is. He's certainly a favorite of mine!

With Anna and Duke living a fairly secluded life away from town, they are allowed to get to know each other with little interference from family and friends. Which is good since Mike Romo, Anna very overprotective brother, can be a real hardass. Anna and Duke don't completely forget about the people they care about but they have those uninterrupted moments, giving them time to get to know each other beyond what everyone else sees.

Blake's humor is certainly present not only in the romance but also in the friendships featured in the story. I loved catching up with previous couples. We see that life isn't always a perfect storybook romance instead it can be messy, frustrating and ultimately filled with ups and downs. But it's how you handle both the ups and downs that show the real person.

Anna and Duke's romance tests not only what they know of each other but what they know of themselves. This last book of the series certainly ended on a high note! I look forward to heading south to Coral Cove, Florida for Ms. Blake's next series slated for a spring 2014 publication.

I absolutely loved this book by Tara Brown. She has a writing style that completely draws you into the story until you are left wanting more. I cannot wait for The End of Games to come out!

Nice, quality construction

Scarleton Large Shoulder Bag H106607

I have just received my brown Scarleton large shoulder bag and I am very pleased! I have been searching obsessively for my "perfect" bag. I was kind of nervous about it after reading some of the reviews, but I dove in and bought it. So far I am very pleased with the size and the color... it is two toned dark brown and brown. I would have liked maybe three more inches on the arm handles but I'm sure it will be fin in the spring and summer(coats are bulky). I am really considering purchasing this bag in another color! Also it is very, very soft....LOVE IT! I am not usually in to shoulder straps however I am going to give this one a try. It is unassuming in its appearance, the inside is bigger than it looks, and when not in use it can just lay flat without losing character. There are two large separate zippered compartments, inside one is two mini pockets and inside the other is a small zipper pocket. Now for the test run......I will update with usage.

Update: I have found it! I have been exclusively using this bag for a couple of weeks and I love this bag! I have not experienced any of the problems I have read in some of the other reviews. The shoulder strap is a bonus, and very helpful. I just love this bag....going to get the other one in black!

Nostalgia Electrics KRS2100 Kegorator Fridge

I knew going into this that the directions were not well written, but for the price - I figured I would give it a shot. Once the fridge is up and running, it is fantastic - I haven't had any issues with it. I have a keg in there now and it is hovering between 34 and 36 degrees without having to make any adjustments.

I am new to the kegerator game, so I wasn't sure how filling/exchanging CO2 tanks worked. The fridge comes with a tiny 2.5 lb capacity (5.2 lb tare weight) aluminum CO2 canister, which is cute, but pretty much worthless. I looked around in my area to find a place that re-fills CO2 tanks, but they all have to send them out to be refilled, and can't refill them at their shops. That turnaround time is 1-2 days. Not convenient. The beer distributor where I bought my keg has 5 lb capacity steel CO2 canisters on hand that they will do exchanges with. So rather than try to refill the little canister, I put down a deposit on one of their 5 lb canisters, and when its empty I just have to take it back and pay like $11 for a full one again. No need to send my tank out to be filled and wait to get it back. I was able to fit the 5 lb capacity steel CO2 tank and a keg in my kegerator without any issues. You can't use the little included tank strap (because the tank is larger in diameter than the stock tank), but a bungee strap will suffice to hold it in place.

As far as the unit itself, it did take a bit to set up, as I found myself cross referencing the written directions, the exploded diagrams and what I had in front of me. If I can offer any advice on assembly it would be this:

1 - Even though they are not well written, read the directions. There are parts you must remove for some reason. Not sure if that is because of packing for shipping, or because they are no longer used due to a redesign, but there are things in there that must come out for this unit to function properly.

2 - When in doubt, refer to the exploded diagrams in the directions. They offer more info than any of the written directions, IMHO.

3 - Anywhere you have metal touching metal, and you have to twist those parts together, there should be a gasket or o-ring involved in that connection. Most of my gaskets were pre-installed, however, I did need to install a few myself. No gasket means air leak, which means you lose CO2 and/or pressure.

4 - If you have a "wobbly tower", you did not install it properly. The unit comes with a "plug" that you can use if for some reason you want to remove the tap handle from the system - and make it into a normal fridge. Now this is completely undocumented, but if you look at that plug in its fancy little bag, it has a large gasket packed with it. You must remove that gasket from the plug and place that gasket between the top side of the fridge and the underside of the tap handle tower before you twist the tap handle tower into place. If you do not do this, the fit of the tower is loose and wobbly and you will lose cold air through this gap which is probably why most people have cooling issues. This part of assembly is not easy, and takes some force to get it twisted on correctly with the gasket in there. You can apply some soap to the gasket to make it easier to turn the handle tower into place. You will probably fail the first few times, the fridge will move around on its casters and hit you in the legs, and you will say to yourself that I have no idea what I am talking about - there is no way the tower will twist into place with that gasket in there. Be persistent and get it on there. Nobody likes a whiner.

Assembly aside, it works great. And remember, you only ever assemble it once. So once that is over with, you have a good product at a cheap price that works like a champ.

First let me say .. If you have not read Beautiful Disaster read that first. Walking Disaster is told from the POV of Travis.

Now if you know me.. You know I love Travis. This fictional bad boy stole my heart quite some time ago. Many have tried to take his top spot. Many have made valiant efforts. However Travis still remains. I have no words to describe how attached I am to his character.

The prologue devastates, crushes and crumples your heart. In one moment you indeed get it. You are giving the golden ticket to the inner makings of Travis. One simple moment that shaped him when he was just a boy. Such a small little man holding onto the words spoken to him by his first love. His Mother, heartbreaking!

Play. Visit Dad. Fight for what I love. That last thing bothered me. I loved Mommy, but I didn't know how to fight for her.

I have read this story before. I'm not even going to deny I have read this story a lot. However Walking Disaster changed it up a bit here and there. Let me look into the inner workings of Travis and see things from his side. Actually this side of things made me even more sure Abby at times was just .. Ugh! In BD I wanted to strangle her.. Reading his side I am convinced I wanted to hurt her physically. Rational of course not, just at times she did not play out well for me. Don't get me wrong.. I am not a hater of the girl. Just she is at times for lack of anything else a class a B! Moving past this the thoughts on her have been etched for some time. I just have not ever liked how she always wanted to get away from Travis . Lol!
I wish I had gotten more details in certain areas.. Such as the girls in apartment when Abby was at apartment. I think Travis not recalling anything .. Boo! I wanted details. For real! Haha!
Parker I thought you were no good in BD.. WD confirmed it you my man are smarmy! Brazil I adored you!
America - Shep and Finch.. Still heart you! I think I love Shep more than I did before to hear the conversations on the other side of the coin. It's an odd thing to know the story so well and yet .. Be given just a bit more. I don't think WD is any better than the first. I think they both stand on own. Equal and still have me loving my favorite bad boy of all!

Beautifully Written

Cold Lonely Place Novel

I enjoyed Sara's Henry first suspense novel featuring Troy Chance LEARNING TO SWIM a great deal. I think her follow up A COLD AND LONELY PLACE is an even better book. In this second outing Troy, a free lance writer, is back living in her Lake Placid home with her roommates and dog Tiger. Philippe and Jameson who served as romantic interests in the first book are on the periphery of this novel as their roles are mostly limited to people Troy e mails or phones for advice.

The mystery in A COLD AND LONELY PLACE involves who or what caused Tobin, a handsome young man from a wealthy family, to freeze to death in Lake Saranac. Troy is involved in the case as the roommate of a young woman Tobin was dating and because she was on the scene taking photos when his body was found. The mysteries of Tobin's life are revealed through interesting and well paced writing. The Adirondack lifestyle is convincingly portrayed. And the reader learns to appreciate Troy a quirky and appealing heroine even more. This book could be understood without reading its predecessor but I recommend LEARNING TO SWIM first for full enjoyment.

The Selection was one of my favorite reads last year and I was dying to get this one and it definitely was everything that I was hoping it would be. The Selection ended way too fast for me and I wanted to understand so much more then we got to see in the first book and I definitely got that in the sequel, Cass has taken her series to the next level and engrossed me even more in her series.

The Elite picks up right where The Selection left off, there is 6 girls left in the competition and it is becoming even more important to each of the girls, to stay each for their own reasons. America still isn't sure who she wants Aspen or Maxon, throughout the book I felt like I finally knew which one she wanted but, then something would happen and she would change her mind all over again. Normally a flippant girl who can't choose between her two love interests in a triangle would drive me crazy. Each time she changed her mind I felt she was justified in her actions and I could understand why she was confused. Throughout the first book I was completely Team Maxon but, you definitely got to see a different side of his character in this book and I was almost off his team but, he kept me on his side somehow.

I absolutely loved getting to know more about each of the characters, we get to know more about most of the girls left in the competition and what each could bring to the table if they were chosen to be Princess. Maxon, was also someone who we got to see a different side to also, as much as it disappointed me to see my shattered dream of a perfect fairytale prince, it gave his character so much more depth and made me feel so much more real. We learn more about his parents the King and Queen also, giving a interesting understanding to what life would be like for America if she wins The Selection.

The rebels are still at their games and we learn bits and pieces of what they may be capable of although, to me it was never quite revealed exactly what their motives were. One of my favorite parts was getting to learn so much more about the dystopian world, combining with the romance and competition, this book was a perfect fit for me.

America is really coming into her own and beginning to grow up for the first time, she is coming into the weight of understanding what it really means to win this competition. She is not only going to become Maxon's wife but, a leader and someone the whole nation is going to be relying on to make decisions that can affect them all.

Overall, Kiera Cass gave me everything I was looking for in this sequel, so much of what I wanted to know from the first book was revealed. While The Selection focused so much of the competition, The Elite opened up to understanding every character and the world around them . While in the end I felt like America finally made a choice in which man she is going to choose, I am still not quite sure if it will be a decision she is going to stay with but, I definitely can't wait to find out!

Shecup is by far my favorite and most comfortable. But you will find that a lot of women will say that about their favorite cup as well. And this may be true for them and their brand because every woman is so different and unique. You might find one brand folds easier, or is easier to insert/remove than another. You really just have to go by trial and error, and while it will be costly, you may have to try many different brands to find THE ONE that works exceptionally well for you. That is how I ended up with 4 different sizes by three different manufacturers.

I also have to add that the Shecup customer service was exceptional. I had received a cup with a flaw that I felt was unhealthy, and they sent me a replacement immediately.

The Yukki is my largest for heavy flow days. It is fatter with a stiff rim, and has a long stem which you can cut to a comfortable length. The stem also helps in removal.

The Shecup has just a little ball nub which sometimes is hard to grab.

My small Meluna I use for light days. Meluna has a firmer outer rim, and aren't as flexible.

You can do a google search or go to the different makers .com websites for more info on the various cups so you can make an informed decision as to which cup might work best for you. They all have little variances to them that make each one unique.

As far as the bag is concerned, the Shecup bag is the best I have! It is very thin, light colored, and made from natural fiber, but I don't feel it will unravel anytime soon. I love the fact that it is all natural and thin because this allows for better drying if you have just discreetly washed your cup and have to place it in the bag to store. BEST THING EVER!

Nine Stars Touchless Automatic 18 5 Gallon

I love this trash can. It was much cheaper than the Simple Human brand and takes standard trash bags so I don't have to buy any special bags. I just wish it was a little bigger because the trash bags aren't FULL when no more trash will fit in the can. I hate wasting them. Also, the rings that you fold the trash bags around are kind of a pain, so taking out the trash isn't a 30 second job any more. I am short so every time I walk by it the sensor senses my hand and the lid opens.

This can looks great in my kitchen and after a week in my BUSY home hasn't collected any finger prints. I am impressed! The lid seems to help keep odors to a minimum (like when bananas are in the trash). Even my husband puts things in the recycle now.

From my perspective that's the good and the bad. Overall, it is a great product and I would definitely recommend it to others.

In sharing this with Nate I believe it opened both their eyes and hearts to following God's plan for their lives and not being selfish but rather allowing their own desires to come second to those of the Lord.

With this being the first in the series I can't wait to see what the rest of the series holds!
